The Sew Fluffy – Cherie4art Mission
SewFluffy exists to bring artistry to home embroiders and who labor their time and talent on their craft, sewing out of a passion. We are here to give you the tools to produce your favorite keepsakes, your highest quality sew outs, and the personalized gifts that express you best feelings.
That is what embroidery art should be, personalization that reflects passion: every stitch placed so that the thoughtful gift becomes a treasured keepsake.
Your efforts deserve better than the cold mechanics of an auto digitize program; You deserve a statement which represents the time, dedication and sacrifice you put into your craft: Your machine’s work should reflect this statement of quality. So here’s to hand crafted pieces that are more than the sum of their stitching: an expression of the time, dedication and love that each craft maker, artist, and business owner wishes expressed on their custom pieces.
From Brush Stroke to Stitch, and All Media in Between.
Raising Digital embroidery to an Art! Sew Fluffy is an extension of Cherie4art Designs. This site exists on the premise that digital embroidery and promotional art must be treated as any other art form, with the respect that a favorite shirt or beloved keepsake deserves. Unfortunately, too many “Digitizers” are simply plugging a file in and pressing stitch, or worse, claiming that cleaning a raster file is truly digitizing, and the difference shows every time. As a digitizer, trained artist, and embroidery manager for nearly twenty years; Cherie Curry has seen more and more ‘punched’ embroidery and digital art flood the market. While this approach is inexpensive, it produces horrible results when compared to the skill of an artist, a skill which no computer program can equal.
